Operation Christmas Child - Packing Party

  • Frenchs Forest Anglican Church 67 Bantry Bay Road Frenchs Forest, NSW, 2086 Australia (map)

Join us as we put together 200 Christmas boxes for poverty stricken children in third world countries in our region.

Frenchs Forest Anglican Church is involved with Operation Christmas Child, an initiative by Samaritan’s Purse, to give children who would hardly ever receive physical gifts a bit of delight over the Christmas period with the mission of showing God’s love in a tangible way.

Everyone is welcome. We have a lot of boxes to fill with items of clothing, personal care, toys, school supplies and more. But more meaningfully, it is very special to leave a personal message in the Christmas box.

A Creative Table will be set up so that you could write, draw or create something that conveys the message that no matter where you are in the world, someone cares about you.

If you have children, this is a great event to be involved in. They can be part of worldwide missions, teaching them that their efforts can have an impact to someone’s life - both practically and spiritually. It is also extra special when a child opens their Christmas box to receive a message of hope and encouragement from another child.

No need to RSVP. Join us at the Church Hall at 10am, Saturday 9 November.

For any questions, email Pat Watson at pat2085@bigpond.com or call the Church office at (02) 9975 5410.
